Cybex Aton M SensorSafe Infant Car Seat and Base

The Cybex Aton M, the latest addition to the German manufacturer's innovative line of car seats, builds on the safety features of the Aton models by adding a new SafeLock base.

In addition to the load leg seen on the Cybex Aton Q and Cloud Q models, the Aton M base features an anti-rebound bar that further stabilizes the base in the event of collision. Together, the load leg and anti-rebound bar minimize the car seat's rotation in a crash, reducing the risk of head and neck injury.

The Aton M also features the Cybex linear side-impact protection system, in which telescoping arms extend toward the car doors to transfer crash forces into the shell of the seat and away from the baby. The side-impact protection system absorbs up to 25 percent more forces in a crash, according to Cybex.
