The Clek Liing infant car seat is an amazing update on Clek’s first infant car seat! Most experts say the best way to ensure your seat is safe is to ensure it was installed correctly. So there’s something to be said for ease. The Clek Liing uses the European rigid latch system, allowing the base to click into your car with minimal effort. The secondary seatbelt-install option is equally easy and equally secure, using a belt tensioning plate that eases the installation for those who aren’t as comfortable getting the belt wildly tight by themselves.
The metal load leg offers stability that very few car seats offer in the US market, preventing upwards and downwards motion in the event of a forward or rear impact collision (by far the most common kind in the US). The seat uses a double shell, allowing for easy removal of fabrics and offering twice the cushioning for kiddo in the event of an accident. It also offers a unique recline system that allows you to adjust the angle depending on your car and your child’s age.
